They might need another starter after all because of Pedro...

Ah, Pedro. I'm sorry, but I am over Pedro Martinez. I'm tired of hearing about his wacky personality and all the rest of it. The man has had the majority of the last two seasons off and he still needs gobs and gobs of extra rest between starts. He's done. You can't depend of him for shit. We got one good year out of him, and that was it. At the time it was worth it, but now it's over.

And even with all these days off, they'll still need another starter because Pedro can't get loose and has to fly to NY to see the one and only one guy in the universe who knows how to rub his arm. Jesus H Tap Dancing Christ. As far as who they'll start, going for a combo of Figueroa and Stokes for 3 innings apiece for one game is as good an idea as any.

There's no reason not start Niese again when he is needed. Figueroa and Stokes are his safety nets.

How about that Rickie Weeks, making another late season run to grab a spot on the Riffs squad.
